Comfort Zone, the Island of Low Hanging Fruit

The dictionary describes the comfort zone like this: A psychological state of mind which a person feels familiar, at ease, in control and experiences low anxiety and stress. Scholars describe it as “Where our uncertainty, scarcity and vulnerability are minimized”. A place where we feel we have some control.
In sales, people tend to sell products that they have the most knowledge of. We all have our comfort zones, it is the place we go when we are faced with a challenge that we think we can’t overcome. Our comfort zone is an “Island of Low Hanging Fruit”. If you are a person who likes to eat the same fruit, day in and day out then your island is your paradise. Read more…
