We’ve Embraced The Chaos For You

AuthorEmbrace the chaos

We’ve all heard this phrase before
and if you’re in the trade show and event industry, you know you have to remain calm, even when you’ve silently “worked in profanity the way others work in oils or clay” – (thank you Ralphie from ‘A Christmas Story’).

You could also lose your mind, become a complete a-hole, or simply keel over from stress – none of which are appealing to most.  There are so many moving parts and pieces that need to come together to make it work that there’s no doubt why there’s a need for the well-known Plan B for every show (and keeping your cool is essential.) There’s always a solution.

Who doesn’t love puppies (and chaos)?

This being said, last week Thursday, my husband and I had to personally embrace the chaos as we brought home a 6-week old puppy
and then thought, “Why not? Let’s get two!”

AuthorThe second puppy arrived home on Monday and just in case you’re wondering – yes, we’re crazy! They’re names are Frank (Francis) and Lola (after a Jimmy Buffet song…we’re big fans) and let me tell you – they are adorable! And they are also a lot of work but fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) the puppy stage doesn’t last forever . . just like a trade show or event doesn’t last forever.

“There is always a solution.”

I hope Optima has embraced the chaos for you somewhere along the way, and I also hope you enjoy our cute puppies! It’s not always easy to embrace chaotic situations with a sense of calm and kindness, but the results are quite surprising – give it a shot!

Thanks Clay! There are definitely some similarities between raising two puppies and managing a trade show, hahaha!!! Have a great weekend!
