Bling, Bling, Shiney Object, Squirrel . . .

AuthorHow can we help your clients prove the results of a show? What is the biggest question they have? “How do I show a return on our investment?” The most common answer is more leads or more qualified leads and, at the end of the day, more sales – period.

Our contribution to this problem gives a solution to compare and contrast leads, but also analyze customer interest and demand for the products/services they offer. The solution is inTouch™, but the challenge is not judging a book by its cover and getting into chapter one. What I mean is, when I first reviewed inTouch™, I was fascinated by its functionality – pressing buttons and watching videos made for a fun demonstration but the bells and flashes detracted from the real value – and that is a discussion that should be had away from flash and functional distraction.

It is kind of like explaining the real intent of Las Vegas. The whole thing is about making money, but driving down the strip is fascinating and the discussion can quickly change from how it works and how the casinos are a sophisticated data-mining machine, to “Look at that bling bling!”, “Did you see that?” . . . as well as many other comments I cannot necessarily share here…you know what I’m talking about. Due to the flash and glamor, the experience easily distracts from the machine that’s tracking and compiling behavior. There is a reason smart casinos bring the glitz and entertainment value and there is a reason smart companies use inTouch™. I was sucked in by the entertainment value of inTouch™, and that overshadowed my explanation of the business proposition – which is helping your customers generate better analytics to demonstrate their return and simplify their selling process.

AuthorIt’s hard to believe we’ve been at this for over 3 years now. A lot has changed. There have been a lot of improvements. Maybe it’s time to take a fresh look at inTouch™ . . . because, like this little thing called the World Wide Web, technology in the trade show and event space isn’t going anywhere – it’s here to stay. If you want a fresh look at this killer opportunity, let me introduce you to our inTouch™ Specialist, Abby Butler, and she can help you work with your customer to get the return they want and need, as well as help YOU grow your business.
