Returning from another Exhibitor show in Las Vegas I made a strong connection with a popular and entertaining Vegas illusionist and the hard working installers of the many SEG (silicone edge graphics) exhibits at the show.

Criss Angel has a show called “Believe”. I didn’t see the show but have seen his work on television, including some really remarkable illusions using seemingly random pedestrians. Really freaky stuff. Most of us are satisfied with watching and knowing there has to be some slight of hand, misdirection or simple trick that fools the eye. Truly only few actually “believe”!

As the old saying goes “seeing is believing” so we are entertained. “Don’t always believe what you see” resonates more with me personally – just my suspicious nature I guess. Fact is, just because you see something doesn’t always make it so. Sometimes, the difference is all in the execution or trick. Take, for example, SEG fabric graphics. If I grabbed any unsuspecting passer by on the exhibitor show floor and asked them to install an SEG graphic, it will not fit – guaranteed.

When the same graphic is installed by a trained professional installer, like the capable people at TS Crew that did the Optima™ I&D at Exhibitor this year, the graphics fit!
Magic? If you want to believe it – that’s cool.

More likely they know the trick. Simple execution of install procedures that ensure the proper presentation of the most popular exhibit solution running. You see Chris Griffin and the TS Crew team have their own show playing weekly in Vegas and all over the nation. I call it “TRUST”. SEG graphics are only a single component in their bag of tricks. Somehow, stuff all gets done! How? Who cares! It’s up and we can perform our face-to-face networking act that is the lifeblood of trade shows.

Unlike professional illusionists and street magicians, we want everyone to know how SEG magic fit is done. We prepared this simple video to show you how a properly sized graphic can be installed to appear the incorrect size. In the video the same graphic is then installed correctly to fit without any magic at all!

Have you ever had a graphic fit perfectly back at the shop and then found it to be the wrong size after it’s installed at the show? Maybe it’s magic, or just maybe you need a new trade show I&D illusionist!

As always, thank you for your business. Great seeing everyone who attended Exhibitor and thanks for reading.
