4 Tips For Being Social At The Show


authorDo you want to get interested attendees to your show space? Below are 4 ideas of social media content to use to get the right people to your show real estate.

LinkedIn:
Get a group started for your appearance at the show or for a new product you are debuting at the show. You can make it a private group and approve those you want to be part of it.

Twitter:
Plan out tweets leading up to and during the show to announce your products, appearance guests at your space. Also, tweet spontaneously while at the show. Make sure to check or have someone check the retweets, direct messages and comments to your posts.

Texting:
A very personal tool. And with 97% of text messages opened and read it is very effective. There are services that you can use to send bulk texts out to have recipients opt in. With your text you can have a click to call phone number or a URL that can be linked to get more information. Texting is great for last minute announcements or immediate responses.

Email:
Create a mini newsletter with information about your show appearance, events at your booth, new products etc. Add videos, links to your website and other social media avenues.

Bonus Tip:
Give away free helpful information electronically. However you choose to engage your customers at your next show it is always a great idea to give away helpful/useful information to your followers and contacts.
