EDPA PULSE | Surveying Q1 2012

AuthorIncrease need for trend data.
The EPDA recognized the need to shorten the turn around on supplying industry trend data a little over a year ago and began the Pulse survey. The Pulse survey is now hitting its one year anniversary. Based on increase participation, there were 214 responses for Q4 2011 over Q3 and hopefully, there will be even greater participation looking at Q1 2012 over Q4 of 2011. Please see the message from Alan Cordial and follow the survey link. I have already taken the survey and the seven questions took me only a few moments.
Thanks, Dave

On behalf of the EDPA, I would like to thank all of you who participated in the PULSE survey last quarter and encourage you to do so again.

As we are all aware, timely information on which to base actionable business decisions is very lacking in the industry. This effort started one year ago is the EDPA’s effort to fill that gap.

Since the first Quarter of 2011 survey, the Pulse has grown and been refined. Each successive quarter has seen the value of the data provided improve and become of greater value. However we still have much to do to see this tool realize its full potential. If you would like to have the additional information that can help you understand your company’s performance in the context of the greater market and see in a quarter over quarter fashion shifts in the industry’s reporting of key business performance indicators, please continue to share your feedback with us on this most important effort. The survey itself will take you less than five minutes to complete.

Also, don’t be shy about forwarding to your peers for their input as well. The larger the audience responding the more valid the data becomes. The greater each of our commitments is to participation the more the survey can be expanded delivering even more worthwhile information.

EDPAAfter you respond, you can expect to see the results about one month into the current quarter and that cycle repeats every quarter going forward, giving you real time tracking on industry trends.

Thanks to Optima for supporting this effort and thanks to all of you for taking the time to respond.
