The Next Big Thing In Extrusion — Panoramic

Category Icon Test
An idea so simple that it is strikingly complete is what I believe we have created with Panoramic. I am very excited to see the efforts of many Optima employees as well as one of our partner companies, Duo coming to life. Panoramic is the name of the new Full Graphic Solution that we test drove at Euroshop and then at Exhibitor and it is now ready for full scale production and happy selling. The idea behind the product was extremely simple – create a full graphic solution where an aluminum extruded exhibit was fully integrated with dye-sub fabric graphics. Up until now, the fabric used in extruded exhibits has been an add on within the metal as the majority of the markets aluminum profiles were all created with the utilitarian purpose of holding rigid substrate graphics or for more meaty structural purposes. Category Icon Test There have been great strides in the evolution of how graphics are added to extrusion exhibits, but not fully integrated as part of the exhibit. We experienced the “beading” craze that started in the early 2000’s and then the SEG wave that began in 2008, but the Panoramic solution is a major step change (hey, let me mention that it is Patent Pending)as fabric graphics are integrated as a building material in tandem with some very unique extruded profiles.

Over the coming days, weeks, and months, we will be sending out a variety of marketing information, coming to visit you to show you the product, and releasing a variety of tools to help you understand the simplicity and the complex nuances of the product and at the end of the day, help you grow and retain your customer base through innovative and sellable solutions. Not sure if sellable is really a word, but I think you get the point.

Keep your eyes and ears open and have a great week.
